Tree of the knowledge of good and evil

this is some personal work i did last night looking at alex pardee's website. his work looked as if he put paint an draw on top, but the shapes of the paint determining the drawing. I'm not sure if he did this of just photoshopped it on after. but i decided to have a go on letting the paint talk to me. and this is what happened.
originally i saw a tongue on the bottom left and was going to make a animal but it developed into a tree, i see it as the tree from genesis
i need to scan it on a A3 scanner to get the rest of the image in but this is just a clip

these are ideas for my final design on a " don't panic" brief, i going to mirror the images so i looks like there resisting its self physically and psychologically. i played around with using ink blogs to give the feel of a rorschach test, also played around with the directing it will be pulling away from its self

illustration for a graphic novel based on the Hindu legend of Rama and Sita, also in an exhibition in uni at the moment

resistance

these are development for the brief i'm doing at the moment, it for "don't panic" and the theme is resistance. so i'm looking at the idea of self resistance, using animals to represent human qualities and mirroring them so they pulling away from each other. the octopus don't work to well because they have little emotion and make a heart shape, and the wolfs just look angry and are pulling away from each other.
